You will be part of our team striving to develop state of the art systems for lab automation based on collaborative robots. We want to harness the productivity and flexibility of collaborative robots and design systems that reliably perform tedious laboratory tasks. The system should also be simple enough to program so that end users are empowered to program the robots by themselves and create new tasks as well as adjust and fine tune existing tasks. You will be responsible for developing our app-based user interface. Your responsibilities will include design, implementation and testing of our user interface. You will collaborate with senior robot experts and end users throughout the process to ensure that the developed solutions are technically sound and meet user expectations.
As we are an international company you will be required to travel at times, particularly to China.
Who are you?
.At least five years of Software Development experience.
.Skilled in .NET, C#, C++, XML, ABB RAPID, ABB Web Services and RobAPI
.Knowledge about HCI, software architecture, UML
.Attention to detail
.Communication skills - including the ability to convey information to non-technical colleagues in a concise and clear way
.Fluent in English, both written and spoken
.Comfortable working in a close relationship with end users and able to handle working in multi-cultural environments

The team combines top-ranked robotics researchers and experienced developers. We are based in Västerås, Sweden. As most of our staff come from ABB, we are planning to base our first product offerings on the ABB Robotics platform, in particular the YuMi robot.
