At Core System Platform we are building a computer-in-the-car architecture - key for enabling innovation within areas such as advanced connectivity, machine learning and autonomous drive.
Our mission is to create a Vehicle Control Unit platform using new technologies like driveOS and NVidia’s latest chip technology in combination with more traditional car signaling technologies.
We are dedicated to deliver platform functions simplifying the application development to create a safe, reliable and secure platform solution within Volvo Cars for increased innovation and speed. 

What you will do

We are now extending our architecture definition capabilities to better cope with the challenges we have.
As an architect within CSP you will work with defining the functions and creating solutions which are safe and reliable.
You will design our architecture enabling our solutions to be compliant with the highest safety grades in the car industry.
We are looking for several architect positions, both on the overall system level as well as area architects for our high integrity processor development that will host the most mission critical applications in the car.

You and your skills
As we are looking for several architect positions your experience and competence can differ slightly based on positions.
• You have experience from working with modern SW architectures including experience in developing computing system with a focus on fault tolerant and safe system
• You have experience in developing and defining Autosar nodes with focus on creating an implementation that can prove ASIL-D compliance.
• You have experience in creating safety goals and breaking it down into a viable architecture.
To be successful in this job we believe that you have the ability to make difficult problems understandable for others with the ability to influence others both by written and verbal communication.
